Flyers/bookmarks – It might sound old-fashioned but flyers or bookmarks can be a great way to raise awareness. Think about where the people you are trying to attract might go. For example, a leisure centre is likely to be filled with people interested in a sports club, a book shop is a good place to look for people interested in a book club and your local coffee shop is bound to be full of people who would happily join a coffee morning group. Make sure you ask permission from wherever you leave your flyers though because if you don’t, they might just end up in the bin.
